I need a new amp for the truck
-Thought you got what you needed?
No that’s speakers I need new amp
-Well, get a new amp
The base isn’t working
-Well, fix the base
I need a new amp.
In circles we went…
I don’t know why you need it anyway, it’s a truck, it’s small, it will just be louder with more base
Okay, I don’t get it, so it’s louder, all radios can be loud
-not like I want it, it sounds better
It just sounds louder to me, I don’t get why this is a necessity but ok
-that’s not a stock radio & nothing is stock in there
I know but it already had a radio, and that radio was loud when you turned it up, seems like a waste to me
(Points to tattoo)
-is that a waste?
No, not if you like it it isn’t.
-it’s an upgrade
No it’s not an upgrade, it is ‘in addition to’ not ‘came with’
(Points to another tattoo)
What if I change this one, cover it with something else? Upgrade
-completely doesn’t apply, neither were there from the get go and a radio isn’t a tattoo. A car comes with a radio, we don’t come tattooed. Now, if you changed the tattoo one would think you decided you didn’t like the first one. Still different than a car radio that you want to upgrade
I think I heard “I need an amp” again! Then the nurse called Troy and on we went …typical day! Wait til The children get home…rounds with Thing1 & Thing2 sound close to the same!
Certainly gave new meaning to “all about the base”
